This is a professionally cleaned springbok skull with horn caps but with no lower jaws. Springbok are NOT endangered and are very common in southern Africa. They are often hunted for food. These Murex Ramosa shells are from the waters surrounding South Africa. The large shells are 6" to 8" (15 to 20 cm) long and 5" (8.75 cm) high. The small shells are 4.5" to 5" (11.25 to 12.5 cm) long and 3.5" (8.75 cm) high.

These are the tumbled edges of African abalone shells. They are also called lips, spikes, or rims. They can be used in shell crafts and make perfect trim on mirrors as shown in the pictures. These warthog tusks are sorted by size. They are measured with a tape measure on the outside curve. The tusk is hollow inside with a solid part at the tip. The longer the tusk is, the larger the solid part is. The extra-large tusks are about 3/4 solid whereas the small tusks are solid at the tips only.
