Deerskin Leather Scrap

These are scrap leather from deer leather hides tanned using a method that emulates the traditional brain-tanning process. They come in different sizes and shapes. The thickness of the pieces vary but they average around 1 to 1.5 mm thick. These commercial brain-tanned hides have a smoky smell and are supple. Deer are not endangered. A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the U.S.
